But it's not worth getting so bent out of shape. the only one i see bent out of shape and going on tangents is yourself. everyone else, said "oh, that's too bad, jerk." and were done. No one else decided they needed to sware up a storm. and then when you were called on it, you went into more tangents. This isn't getting anyone anywhere, so it might as well be dropped.

2004-09-06 [akhirah]: i collect english and viking swords, the ones i have are authentic english swords from 1800. I used to have katana's, but i prefer english swords..lot bigger XD besides, proper katana's are sacred and are made especially for the owner, i dont like to buy copies.

2004-09-07 [Moorn]: Nodachi have the same rought shape of a katana, though are larger, heavier, and more or less required two hands to use at all, much less efficiently. They wouldn't have been terribly useful unless out in the open.

2004-09-08 [Moorn]: Katanas had a much deeper cultural significance than did European swords... to a Samurai his sword was his life, and its hard to imagine a Westerner being so deeply attached to his blade. Drow also don't seem like the type to practice elegant swordsmanship, which means a bastard sword or something along the lines of a Scottish Claymore would do better for them. Hacking and slashing and all that. *falls over from oxygen deprivation, forgot to breathe*
